Origami Fireworks

I made this piece of origami about a few years ago and it has been sitting in my wardrobe ever since then.

12 pieces of paper were used to make this.

Wondrously brilliant and instant appeal! Instant fav, too. Made my morning (and people say color has no real impact!).

No problem. For many things that I like visually, I have found the following description to come close to the sensation: it does for my eyes what chocolate does for my mouth. Yours was more like the American candy Skittles... lens-shaped (like M&Ms), candy coated, chewy fruit candies. A handful reminds me of what this piece did for my vision this AM. :]
